'Style on a Shoestring' at Freeport A'Famosa Outlet

Shopping! Shopping ! One of every girl's favourite activities. It was my pleasure to participate and enjoy the ultimate shopping experience with 39 other fashion bloggers on 6th Dec 2015.

Early at 9 am in the morning, we assembled at The Palace of the Golden Horses for our shuttle. It just took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach A'Famosa Resort, Melaka. Upon arrival, we had a Conference Q&A session with the Celebrity Bloggers - Xandria Ooi, Bangsar Babe, Heidi and Nana. They shared their ideas on how to increase our blog traffic and gave tips about fashion. We really had a good time with the 4 of them. Overall, it was a great sharing experience among the bloggers. In the end, they gave us the GOAL of the entire exercise -

  The Marketing and PR from A'Famosa Outlet was very friendly, they welcomed enthusiastically and briefed us on the spot. They highlight that there will be more brands and outlets opening soon. Currently, there are over 60 outlets opened during 28th Nov & 5th Dec. Our event falling on the 6th Dec, it was really a good time for us to shop. The is never enough time for girls to shop!

From the terms, we have to experience the shops in the outlet within 2 hours and spend RM350. We were divided to two groups, 1 group is focused on casual wear and another for dressy outfits. I was attached with group B, the casual group.

Actually I went to just a few outlets, Forever 21, Sacoor, G2000, Carlo Rino, Natural Republic, Camel, Vero Moda, ONLY Outlet and etc. However, having only a limited time to shop with the budget of RM350, we had to rush. It's really a waste, as I would need more time to browse the other outlets. Since it is a new opening, what I can see is every outlet was crowded with customers busy grabbing stuff. It's a suitable place to hang around with family and friends.There is something for everyone eg, clothes, shoes, bags, cosmetics etc, you can get it all here.

Group B - casual look. It was a great experience to hang out with all these guys. See you all again soon!

No doubt, A' Famosa is a one-stop venue for leisure. It's located just 55 minutes from Sungai Besi toll and 30 minutes from Malacca. There is something for everyone, eg Golf , Water Theme Park, Safari Wonderland, Old West, Resort Hotel, Condotel, Villas with swimming pool, wedding & honeymoon events, sports & recreation as well as the new opening Freeport A'Famosa Outlet. It will be good idea to make a holiday trip.
